Being a homeowner, I bought this car for cargo space- it has just what I need without being a truck or a big gas-guzzling SUV. It feels inside and out more like a car (I drove a Honda Accord for 10 years), it handles easy, and has enough horsepower for the pick-up I need around town and on highways. It's small enough that I don't have any trouble parking, but I easily brought home 20 bags of mulch this weekend!
Most important I find it very comfortable. I'm long-legged and the height getting in and out is just right for my aging knees, and the seats don't feel like a "bus" but treat me very well on long road trips.
Before buying I compared with the Honda CRV and the Nissan Rogue and this one won out on the test drive for what I needed at my price.
The only negative so far is the amount of plastic on the outside, but that's what's making cars "lighter" these days for gas efficiency.
